For my taste kathleen's first book is her best of her four much like Gutenberg. The blacks of the lithographs are very, very deep again hearkening back to Gutenberg. A truly magnificent production from a woman's private press. As far as I know Kathleen Gray Schallock was Walter Hamady's first student.
